Updated website - Feb 2009
This is the second incarnation of the Relic-Tronics website. The first was created in January 1999 with FrontPage 98 which at the time was an easy way to get a site up and running. 10 years later the program was past its prime and my previous web hosting service made changes which did not allow editing online using FrontPage. There were some things about FrontPage that I never really understood well anyway.
I switched over to Go Daddy for hosting and then created this new version of the site using Microsoft Expression Web 2. It took a while to get used to Expression Web but it is much more intuitive and consistent, and the HELP is excellent.
What's happening:
Music Store repairs
This is keeping me very busy. I had a bit of a backlog over the Holidays that has finally been whittled down.
Ham Boatanchor Projects
The available space in the garage is near zero and it is hard to find room to work. Need to decide what to keep and what to sell off. Priority will be getting rid of big stuff!!!
Ham Antenna Work
Needs to become a priority this summer. I have some antenna tower maintenance work to do and also I have another triband beam antenna (HyGain TH6DXX) to replace the Mosley TA-34 I'm using now.
Motorcycle Hobby
I've had bikes almost my whole life and lost interest for a while, but now it has come back. I'm into British bikes and still have my '72 Norton Commando Combat Roadster and a few Matchless heavyweight singles around. I attended the annual INOA Norton National Rally held in Wellsboro, PA last year and it really gave me the bike fever bad. I fell in love with that area and 2 weeks later went back up there for a long weekend with my wife, Jane, because I didn't get to see enough of it.
