Thought I would include some photos of some of the stuff that has come through and/or accumulated here. Someone suggested a "garage cam" because it keeps changing!

Collins 212U-3 Remote Mixer/Amplifier
This is a broadcast remote amplifier that was originally used to drive telephone lines from a remote location back to the studio. It is from the early '50s and it works great with the Collins 32V-2 on AM. Just needed new electrolytics. I built a little interface box to reduce the high output (volts) back down to mic levels (millivolts). Jay Miller, KK5IM, who helped me, designed the circuit and has one of these also. This one came from Oklahoma via "that auction place".
The following thumbnail series shows off a nice '40s Gibson EH-100 amp that I refurbished for the owner of our local music store. New electrolytic caps were put inside the hollowed-out old caps to preserve the original look. Click on the thumbnail to view full size picture.

Lafayette Explor-Air KT-135 kit in nice cherry dove-tailed cabinet made by local craftsman Glenn Kaucher
(Glenn is the guy who got me into this when I soldered some wires for him years ago. A multi-talented wizard, he also plays guitar with Johnny T's Rough Mix.)
